John began his career in the Human Resources field. Working for large corporations, John enjoyed managerial challenges with FoxMeyer Corporation (now McKesson) a leading pharmaceutical distributor, AccuRay (now ASEA Brown Boveri) and Armco Inc. (now AK Steel), process automation and steel production firms respectively. During this period, he became skilled in the areas of employment, executive search, labor relations, succession planning, compensation, organization development and performance management. In addition, he lectured on such subjects as Professional Outplacement, Assessment Center Design, Conflict Resolution, Progressive Disciplinary Process and was a member of the American Iron and Steel Institute speakers bureau.
Prior to co-founding MARKT & MARKWORTH, LTD., John was affiliated with an executive search firm where he grew sales 50% each year during his eight-year tenure. His diverse experience enabled him to work in multiple Practice Areas and he also was successful in building a niche practice in Supply Chain Management.
John grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, majoring in Personnel and Labor Relations Management with a minor in Economics. He is a lifetime member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. John is married to Pamela Markt. She is an IT Manager working for an industry leading Insurance Company. They have two grown children. He is an active volunteer for various civic and non-profit organizations including Habitat for Humanity.

Jennifer's career began with the international law firm of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey (SS&D) where she developed and directed their lawyer recruiting. She was promoted to oversee the firm-wide consolidation of their staff and lawyer personnel, benefits and training functions. While at SS & D, she founded the Law Placement Association of Cleveland (LPAC). She also was active with the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) where she was elected as a charter member of the Advisory Board and Director of the NALP Executive Committee. She is a recipient of the annual Woman of Professional Excellence Award. She has consulted with employers on a broad spectrum of human resource issues including recruiting, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management and general administration.
Prior to co-founding MARKT & MARKWORTH, LTD., Jennifer was recruited to join the newly created management team for QualChoice Health Plan, Inc. (a subsidiary of University Hospitals Health Systems) where she was Vice President of Human Resources. Her work and search experience enables her to work in many diverse industries in such practice areas as Supply Chain Management, Legal, Finance, IT, Marketing and Human Capital Management.
Jennifer grew up in the Washington, D.C. area. She attended Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio and received her Bachelor's degree from Kent State University. She is married to Dale Markworth who practices law in Cleveland, Ohio. They have one daughter. Jennifer has been an active volunteer working for civic organizations such as the Cleveland Orchestra and the Heart Association.

Jennifer began her diverse career in the sports marketing industry. Her breadth of experience spans corporate consulting, corporate sponsorship negotiations and management, association rights holder consulting, marketing and promotional development, merchandising/licensing, and public relations.
Prior to entering the search profession, Jennifer spent four years with a leading promotional marketing company, where she developed and managed merchandising programs for clients including MasterCard, Pepsi, and NASCAR.
Jennifer has honed her executive recruiting skills for the past seven years, having conducted successful searches for such diverse organizations as the NBA, Quaker Oats, Sears, Texaco, U.S. Olympic Committee, and VISA. Since 2002, Jennifer has been a consultant working with a variety of clients in the financial services, insurance, CPG manufacturing, and education industries and has been successfully collaborating with Markt & Markworth since early 2008
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, where she served for nine years on the Board of Trustees, including three years as Vice Chairman. Jennifer and her husband, Geoff, live in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with their five children.

Jessica grew up in Grafton Ohio. She attended Ohio University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
Jessica began her career in the Information Technology industry with a five-month internship in Germany with software logistics company Ortec International. As a marketing researcher with Ortec, she successfully assisted in several international business transactions with well-known global corporations such as Coca-Cola and IKEA where accurate and timely communications were imperative. Upon returning to the United States Jessica continued to hone her communication skills when taking a position in sales for an IT company before moving on to the executive search industry.
Jessica joined Markt & Markworth in 2008 as Office Manager and Research Director. She currently resides in Lakewood, Ohio and enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
